Job Opportunities and Basic Skills (JOBS) Program
The JOBS Program serves individuals age 16 and older who are receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program, a county administered financial grant, to gain education, training, and/or employment to become a successful self-sufficient community member. The JOBS program assists individuals to overcome barriers, gain life skills, and become self sufficient both financially and professionally.
While involved with the JOBS Program, referred individuals will work directly with a personal case manager to develop an employment plan based on their interests, skills, values, and personality to assist each person to reach their full potential.
The JOBS Program provides assistance in such skill areas as:


Work Experience
Cover Letter/Resume Development
Interviewing
Budgeting and Goal Setting
Job Search /Application Process
Being Professional
Time Management
JOBS Program participants may also be eligible to receive further supportive services, such as transportation assistance, to help them maintain their employment plan and reach their career goals.
