Residential Services helps people with money management, health and wellness, meal planning, shopping, and accessing community resources. The level of support varies from person to person as the goal is for people to live as independently as possible. An assessment tool utilized by the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services will determine the amount of staff support each person receives each month. The goal of Residential Services is to help people develop natural supports in order to reduce paid supports.
- Residential Habilitation: is a service provided every day to a person. It can be as little as one hour per day to as much as 24 hours per day.
- Independent Habilitation: is a service provided less than once per day, typically 1-3 times per week.
